A light haired female can be seen running through Threshold a paper flapping in her hand as she does. She stops and expertly dodges around a Militia that comes around the corner of a building. "Sorry there, Sir! You okay?" As the Militiaman nods she rushes off towards the main Barracks and pushes the door open excitedly, dropping off the paper and waiting around a few moments.
She catches sight of Nassus and watches the way he commands those under him as they quickly and in an orderly fashion deal with the tasks given to them. Noting the busyness of the Barracks, she decides to take her leave and return when it is calmer to see if by some chance she was accepted. When the letter and application are seen, this is what it would say.
"Attached is my application and a letter explaining my reasons for wanting to join the ranks of the Militia.
Reason for application: To strive to increase the prosperity of Threshold and the safety of its citizens. To stand strong against the threats that are amassing to ensure there are enough people to protect the ones that cannot protect themselves from the tragedies that fall on this town.
Those are the short common answers you get. But if you will indulge me, I will go on longer,
The Heroes of Threshold are only one part of what make this city great. The courage of Nassus and those that serve under him are another part. I would play daily as a child in Threshold, seeing the armour of the Militia as they walk down their patrols, stopping to help where needed. I wish to be a part of this, not only to be closer to the Heroes of Threshold and perhaps have a chance to aid them, not for fame or glory, but to always ensure that what the Threshold Militia stands daily to protect and all those that call Threshold home, will always have a place to go to.
I have rambled on and nearly given you a backstory, I am not even sure if this has even been read past the first paragraph, if you would accept my blade under your command Marshall Nassus, I would readily serve and protect where you place me."
