Len slumbers in her home, her arms wrapped tightly around her pillow. The dreams were sweet while the presence of Marehi was around.
Once alone her dreams shifted she heard the bells of the city ringing clearly in her head, able to visualize every detail as if she was once more there.
“Did you believe I would not know, did you think I would not sense you? Your essence little Hin-Fae” a pause in words as Len looks around for the voice, seeing nothing she realizes it is within her head. “Unique but so were the others...one was left behind do you believe her alive still?”
Len tries to answer but realizes she cannot speak, no matter how hard she screams her voice will not be heard.
“I sensed you all. Pray, I do not find a reason to answer your visit.” With that, the ringing bell is heard again, overlapped with the sound of screaming. As the bell fades, Len awakes her scream filling the room as she throws everything off her in a panic. A cold sweat soaking her clothes as her heart beats fast.
She does not fall asleep again, she stays awake wondering...A dream or a warning. She cannot tell.
She awakens in another cold sweat, the dream the same as last time. clothes soaked she removes them quickly. Letting out a breath, her body trembling in the cold air. “I cannot stay warm and even dreams are not safe, not until Sasha is. The dark thought that she refuses to accept enters her mind. “What if they never stop.”
She lets out a loud curse in abyssal as she hears the laughter and the ringing bells again. Placing her hands over her ears, foolishly thinking it will help, she walks to the kitchen naked, pouring herself a hot drink to try and drink the coldness inside her away.
Wrapping a blanket around her she goes to the window to look over Verge, to calm her mind. She stays there watching the sun rise before getting dressed once more and heading to the Temple of Valerias to pray and seek comfort before they all go back once more to the City of the Dead.
