- No child characters. Your PC must be of age.
- No carrying children into battle, they'll die. End of.
- You must be from the setting, we don't have dimensional travel.
- No characters ripped from another fandom. Use your own imagination. Examples that show you're probably in the wrong:
- If you spend the majority of your time copy and pasting quotes from pre-written content.
- You've copied the likeness, mannerisms, facial features and personality of a pre-existing character you didn't write.
- Characters related to another already existing PC must be cleared with the OC.
- Relation to major NPC's must be cleared with the DM's / Admins first
- Your PC must have a balanced personality. Flaws and skills.
- You cannot roleplay as someone else and assign them emotes.
- Do not emote your thoughts. Other PC's are not mind readers.
- Be sensible with your character combinations and be prepared to play them as they are.
- An orc is an orc, not just a tall buff human.
- A paladin is a deified champion of faith, not just a glowy fighter
- An orc is an orc, not just a tall buff human.
- Make sure you know the background of the legacy you chose.
- Be prepared to play your class in Roleplay. Examples:
- Clerics and Paladins need to represent a deity to channel power.
- Low intellect characters will struggle with long words and comprehension of conversation
- Expect to need the following skill to win rolls: Intimidate, Persuade, Bluff
- Have the roleplay skills to match your rolls. If you're bad at insulting or arguing, don't expect your Intimidate modifier to do all the work.
- Note: Charisma and physical attractiveness are not the same thing.
Lastly, if in doubt: ask for advice and assistance. You don't want to be in a position to have an inappropriate character deleted.
