Kings Armed Forces - External
The purpose of the external Kings Forces (Soldiers, Enforcers, Arcanists etc) is to ensure the King's Council is always informed and positioned to enact the law as required. Including passing through and spending time in frontier and border towns to ensure that no immediate danger is posed to Mirros and it's surrounds.
Even when out of jurisdiction, an external officer must report crimes and unusual occurrences and behaviour back to command.
Out of character. Kings Armed Forces players are for those who wish to exist in Threshold, but still have a character that is regimented and army regulated. Much like the Black Eagle Territories, but less restricted.
Players who wish to join the KAF should expect to have rules around what they can and can't tell players to do. As their jurisdiction at this point is extremely limited. They, however, are currently doing extremely well at information gathering and liaising with Adventurers.
If you seek this Faction as an attempt to control or strong arm other players - you will find yourself stripped of your title and position as this is not the intention of the faction. It is purely about spreading law and order in a non offensive and non aggressive way.
KAF characters may be able to ingratiate themselves with Threshold Council enough to seek a leadership position if they possess the knowledge, charisma and political clout - however the KAF faction does not automatically allow you to control other PC's in any way.
- Always serve Mirros first
- Wear the correct ranked uniform when on duty
- Only enforce in their jurisdiction
- Memorise and be prepared to enact the penal code
- Liaise with adventurers and local townsfolk
- Report any relevant activity to Mirros directly
- Act respectfully and with integrity
