The purpose of the external militia team is to bridge the gap between static internal patrols and guards and the outer wilds that are handled by Adventuring teams. Your job is to create an ongoing dialogue and receive reports that could be valid to prevent future danger for Threshold internally and externally.
Adventurers fund the ongoing growth of the town and push back the oncoming dangers from all sides. The Militia serves the town. Adventurers serve the town. We are two sides of the coin that is Threshold. It behooves you to remember that.
Out of character. The militia role serves. It exists to help other players, become involved in Threshold plots and ongoing server wide experiences. It is not made for people to order other PC's around or attempt to ban them or outlaw them.
Any permanent consequences for other PC's are always handled by DM intervention via Nassus or other Militia or Threshold NPC's.
