An extract from the front page of the Highforge Orbital. It is now pinned to most noticeboards, left on most tables and stuck up in some windows. With locals regularly shouting out to Archmage Lumina as she passes "HOORAY FOR THE DAME!"
Highforge has had a flawless ceremony for the medallions of honor, after the last was postponed due to an intense lightning storm in which all conductors needed to be urgently manned and monitored. As always in the City, Production comes first - For the Greater Good.
Therefore we announce the recipients of the Highforge Medals.
The recipient of the Coiled Spring medal - The medal that we all know is for a great deed of military achievement. Many of us are also aware that this is a posthumous medallion for the fallen Watcher Xytreco Jaslin, who bravely tackled an espionage agent into the Great Forge lava pit in order to ensure that stolen documents of our city did not leave it's boundaries. We salute Knight Xytreco Jaslin, The Forever Coiled Spring.
The Watchful Eye medal, given for service to our grand community is to Lazikine Grathi. For their unwavering dedication to ensuring the Orbs are ever seeing and the names are always written. They will be named forever The Honorable Lazikine Grathi, of Highforge. They have declined the invitation to speak as they are currently monitoring the systems as we speak, ever diligent.
Lastly the Medal of the Enduring Cog, the most exciting medal of the ceremony. The recipient of which has given significant and diligent invention and investment into Highforge. Making them worthy of Knight Civilian of the Order of Perpetual Motion.
It was with profound gladness that the King announced that the recipient was Lumina of Highforge, now Knight Civilian of Perpetual Motion.
Dame Lumina of Highforge said a few very poignant words about the honor - importantly reminding all of us that all citizens are capable of great things for the city and for the wider world. A true inspiration for the City of Highforge.
Dame Lumina was supported by a fashionable cadre of Adventurers from the wider world, captured in vivid detail.
